The roaring Johan Hegg, a giant with hammer-like vocals, crushed the crowd as the chunky riffs and terrific blast beats melted our faces and smashed our ear drums to dust. Those crazy swedes did it again. For someone who sounds like they're about to chop off your head, Johan Hegg sure is a nice guy, getting everyone to clap their hands and sing along. They played a double set, which is always a treat, and kept the crowd engaged from start to finish.
To all those metal heads out there, if you ever, EVER have the slightest chance to make it to a Mean Girls concert, DO IT! They are always fantastic!
